Well, nothing much to report. I'm collaborating with a friend on a book that I originally attempted to write myself (but didn't get very far). I've got some ideas for painting, but I've left my tablet in a drawer for the time being. I've had to stay close to my "barometers" in life lately, like the health of my relationship with Camellia, the ability to focus in my job, and a number of other smaller things. The reason is that I'm still coming down in dosages from my medication and I'm finding it harder and harder to stay focused. On the plus side I'm finding myself more and more driven by wild, wacky, colorful ideas.
I went on a buying spree lately for music equipment, which included a mini mixer and a compressor. I've been listening to my music at night through it and it's helped me keep at level I like and still hear all the quiet details, and it's great for when company is over and I want to keep everything at a consistent volume. It's nice for old movies too, with all those quiet parts where you're normally going "Eh? What did she just say? Rewind that!" Though, some people might say that's part of the "magic."

Most of all, though, I've been doing my pathology (self imposed) homework. When Camellia gets out of school in a year and a half I plan on being very ready for going to school myself (ahead of the curve, I hope). That means picking up all her biology textbooks and studying them as well as my own medical textbooks. It's a tall order, but I've got a natural aptitude for medical subjects, so here's hoping I can deal with all the bureaucracy of being a student again without losing my will to keep studying it. I know the challenge is going to be immense, as it has been in the past.
Anyway, there's so much more to say, but no good way to wrap it all up. Things like, "My poor boss is going in for hip surgery and he's not coming back for three weeks," and "my friend, Cali, is in Fiji for weeks," that bum!
Here's something random I've been perfecting:

Hope that holds everyone over for a bit.
