You know, that would be a good idea. I've thought of doing illustrations for some of my stories to get the images out and more confidence with drawing people would help.

Heh, thanks. The biggest advice i'd give you is to draw from life. Studying how things look in real life and training your brain to simplify shapes and colors - that's how you improve. Drawing real faces and hands is the best way to learn them! Of course it's good to study anatomy and color theory and that stuff, but drawing from life is the biggest one. I know Cabrillo has a really great art program if you wanted to take some classes :)
